Great Start Lapeer Area Playgroups
In our playgroup, we combine about 45 minutes of structured activites with about 45 minutes of freeplay. We begin with circletime music that promotes gross motor, speech and imagination play. Next we move a craft that will encourage creativity for the older child, or a fun sensory experience for the younger child. Parents/caregivers take turns bringing a snack that we share. Adults can relax with a cup of coffee/tea and make some friends of their own.
