BEYOND THE DELIVERY Infant Playgroup
If you are a new parent and would like to learn a wonderful skill that will soothe, relax or delight to your baby, then please join us! Beyond the Delivery is an infant playgroup created by nurses and physical therapists in 1983 to teach parents 17 simple, sing-a-long baby exercises to stimulate baby’s physical, social and cognitive development. The exercises are fun and help prepare babies for rolling, sitting, crawling and standing. Tummy-time games are also explored in this casual group setting. Great place to ask questions about child development and meet other parents of young infants. This program is for parents of babies’ ages 3 weeks to 6 months. Mokena Community Park
