In addition to having playgroups for our children, we meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month between 9:30 - 11:30 for a christian based lesson to help all moms answer the questions that we have in raising our children. We also meet the first Tuesday of every month for a Mom and Me mission project that allows our children to learn the importance of doing things for others. On the Third Thursday of every month, we get together for a fun evening just for moms.
This is a very open and accepting group of women. You will build long lasting friendships while getting helpful information on raising your children. Please come join us at one of our meetings! Tampa Area Families Meeting Families is a group that was started by working mom's as a place for our families to meet other area families. We love our families but need a place to meet people. New Tampa Mommies
We are centered in north or "New" Tampa but welcome members from all over the area. The group consists of mommies and children of all ages. We chat, ask questions, get advice, have many weekly playdates, monthly "Mom's Night Out", plus so much more. This is a great opportunity for moms to meet moms and get the support and adult interaction they need, all while the children learn and play!
We are an active group and consistent participation and message board posting are required. All members are required to attend a public playdate before being granted access to the group website and features. All members are required to attend at least one playdate or group activity per month, special circumstances not withstanding. "Lurking" members will be unsubscribed from the group for the peace of mind of our members and the safety of our children. This is not simply an online discussion forum - please join only with the intention of being involved.

The Tampa Chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. is part of a national organization that serves as a support group for stay-at-home mothers of color and encourages the spirit of community activism. Tampa-Language Playhouse
Enabling children of today to understand and participate in the bilingual world of tomorrow, Language Playhouse is scheduled to open September 4th at 4920 Newkirk Road, Suite 3 in Tampa. Specifically designed for children, Language Playhouse operates age appropriate fun foreign language immersion classes for children ages 12 months- 3 years (parent & tot/once a week for 1 hour/8 week sessions and 4 - 8 years(kids only classes/once or twice a week for 11/2 hours/9 week sessions) consisting of songs, games, arts & crafts, drama and more presented entirely in the Spanish language. Our program enables their participants to absorb a second language naturally, through consistent exposure and positive reinforcement. Our curriculum enables us to continue education through age 16 which will incorporate reading and writing in the target language.
