A Great Party for spring time birthdays, or anytime!

Invitation
It could be as simple as a seed packet with a hole punched through it and a tag attached with the party information.

Decorations
Any kinds of flowers or plants. Watering Cans, large flowers cut out of construction paper hanging in the party area or taped to the walls. Floral table cloth or green table cloth with floral napkins and coordinating plates.
Food

Games
Name the Flower
Supplies:
About 8 photos of Flowers (or live ones)
Pens and a sheet of Paper for each guest
Poster board if using photos.

Name that flower guessing game can be played by gluing photographs of Daises, Carnations, Roses, Pansies, etc., on to poster board and numbering them. Make a list of the flowers on a sheet of paper and have a copy for each guest. The guests can match the name with the corresponding number. If you have several different flowers in your home you can use the live ones instead of the photos, which can also be used as part of the decorations. Make plant markers out of card stock to number the flowers.

Pick a Flower
Supplies:
Construction Paper
Tape or glue
Large flower pot
Floral foam

Make Paper flowers large enough for a lollipop to be the center of the flower. Tape or glue a flower to each lollipop and mark the end of one stem (stick) with a special color.
Cut a piece of floral foam to fit into a large pot, insert all of the flowers into the floral foam that's inside of a pot. Everyone gets to take a turn picking a flower and whoever ends up with the colored stem wins a prize.

Pin the Bumble Bee on the Flower
Supplies:
Poster Board
Paint or Markers
Paper for Bees
Tape
Blindfold

Draw a large flower on the Poster Board with Pedals. Make enough Bees for the amount of players you will have. You can make them out of construction paper or just photo copy them to make enough. Number your bees and roll a piece of tape to stick on the back. Each child takes a turn blindfolded to try to get the bee in the center of the flower.

Activities
Have the children decorate small Terracotta pots to take home as party favors. Use a craft stick to write each child?s name and stick in the pot for a place card. Buy enough plants and potting soil for each child to plant one in their pot after it has dried, or if you sent out the seeds as invites you can have the children bring them to the party to plant, make sure to have extras for anyone who may have forgotten to bring the packet to the party.
Have sidewalk chalk for the children who finish decorating early, where they can draw while the others are still painting their pots or for early arrivers before the party.

Party Favors
