This movie is great - I saw it last weekend and I am glad that I saw it in the Theater and didn't wait for DVD. I never read the book so I can't comment on if it followed or not, but I intend to now. Scarlett Johansen is awesome and the movie is touching. I would recommend it.

I haven't heard of that movie or book before, it does sound familiar, but I haven't heard anything about it or seen any previews.

Is it a comedy about nannies or something else?

It looks really cute to me. But I dont know if I can make it that long to see a movie. I will have to wait until its on dvd but I have to see this movie!!!!!!

The movie is about a new college grad that is scared about what's next. Her name is Annie but when she introduces herself to someone, an elitest in NYC, she thinks she says she is a Nanny. So she becomes a nanny to a boy whose parents are just too busy for him and the mother treats her as a servant. The mother gives her a room that is a like a closet with no AC, the husband is cheating and these rich stay-at-home moms have a support group. Annie becomes Grayer (the child) best friend when she breaks all the rules including giving him peanut butter & jelly straight from the jar, but it has high fructose corn syrup in it! It's all very funny and has some romance in it too. Laughing

I saw this last week and thought it was great! I don't normally like scarlet johansen but she was really good in this role. It followed the book pretty well from what I can remember. The sad thing is, it's based on a true story. Sad
