My son, Christopher will be turning 6-years-old on Wednesday.
Now, like my title says, I'm very late with beginning the planning, etc this year due to a lot going on in the past 2-3 weeks. I usually begin the party planning 2-3 weeks ahead of time, but just haven't had a whole lot of that this year.
Anyhow, I'm having difficulties coming up with a theme for it this year. I've used:
Winnie The Pooh - 1
Bob The Builder - 2
Buzz Lightyear - 3
Superman - 4
Peter Pan - 5

And for some reason, he just WILL NOT budge to give me any idea's to what he wants for a theme. I've been letting him chose from his 2nd birthday on, and he's either run out of idea's, or just plain & simply will not tell me.

Any suggestions from you ladies as to what theme I could use?

Is he into any certain charcters right now or into playing with certain toys.

Some of the things that are popular now for 6 year old boys are:

Star Wars
Chicken Little
Pirate
Dinosaur
Race Cars

..or if he's into anything like a certian sports you could do baseball, soccer, etc. They also even have dog themed stuff out now if he likes dogs.

Will you be having a party or will this be a family celebration and you just need the theme for the cake, paper goods, etc.

Hope he has a great day! Very Happy

I think I'm going to go with Race Cars.. he's had some strange infatuation with race cars, and race car drivers since he was 4Smile
